We had a great meeting today! In case you missed it, here's what happened:
-Leslie started the meeting with a great email that she received from a friend call "I'm Invisible" (see below)
-Dane lead us in prayer
-Meg and Leslie reminded everyone about the Holiday Extravaganza! (more to come)
-Ramie lead an Ice Breaker where everyone went around the room and answered an open-ended comment (ie: my favorite TV show is...., I'd like to travel to....)
-We watched the book study video on the 1st two chapters of our book: Dwellings
-Meg led the book study discussion
Meg's discussion talked about how you make your house a home. It's your comfy place, where you might have some pretty things, some messed up things (from the kids), it might be messy, but it's your HOME. And in that home, sometimes you must compromise: with your hubby, your kids, or your pets! But it's still the place you want to go/be. It's your safe haven!And it's where you make your mark--you add your personality to the bare walls and rooms.
